Interpretation

The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

• Service Provider means any natural or legal person processing data on behalf of the Company.
• Usage Data refers to data collected automatically while using the Service.
• You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the legal entity on whose behalf such individual acts.

Financial and Card Payment Data

When You make a payment on our platform, the transaction is processed directly by secure, authorized third-party payment gateway providers. ResQ Harvest does not directly collect, view, or store raw card numbers, CVV values, or card expiration dates on our own application servers.

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. It may include IP address, browser type, visit times, pages viewed, device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

Tracking Technologies and Cookies

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on Our Service and store certain information. We use essential cookies to operate the platform and functionality cookies to remember user preferences. Non-essential cookies are used only with your consent where required by law.

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes: to provide and maintain the Service, manage your account, fulfill contracts, contact you, provide updates, manage support requests, evaluate business transfers, and optimize platform operations.

Your information, including Personal Data, may be processed in Sri Lanka and in other locations where our cloud providers operate. By creating an Account and agreeing to these terms, you consent to the transfer, routing, and processing of your Personal Data to secure international cloud infrastructure.

Legal Disclaimers & Security

We implement commercially reasonable safeguards to protect Your Personal Data, but no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. ResQ Harvest cannot guarantee absolute security, and liability in the event of a breach or force majeure shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by Sri Lankan law.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and the “Last updated” date will be revised accordingly.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

ResQ Harvest operates a marketplace for surplus food and food waste valorization. Due to the perishable nature of these items, sales are generally final once payment is completed and order fulfillment begins.

• Orders cannot usually be returned or exchanged once collected or handed over to a delivery provider.
• Any claim regarding product quality, spoilage, or fulfillment must be reported within two hours of delivery or pickup with supporting photo or video evidence.
• Approved refunds may be issued as digital vouchers or, where applicable, as payment gateway reversals for platform-side technical failures.
• Merchant-side failures may result in the corresponding financial value being deducted from the affected merchant’s settlement allocation.
